June 21, 1962 to Nov. 5, 2005 Firefighter, Father, Husband, Brother, Uncle, and Friend. He grew up in Long Beach and had resided in Santa Ana before moving to Paso Robles with his wife Nanci and daughter Lauren to open Creekside Bed and Breakfast. He was a firefighter for 17 years with the City of Riverside. He also spent a year with Los Angeles City Fire before returning to Riverside. He also spent time with the California Department of Forestry where he began his career in firefighting.His sister Anita D?Eccliss described firefighting as his lifelong dream and all who worked with Ed would say he was truly a "firemen's fireman".He was a member of the departments USAR team, CATF-6, and had recently returned from deployments to assist with Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.He is survived by his wife Nanci and daughter Lauren, mother Graciela Teran, sisters Anita D?Eccliss, Sylvia Teran, and Maria Del Rio. Brother-in-laws Tony D?Eccliss and Pat Kay, sister-in-law Lisa Kay, mother-in-law Beverly Caples, nieces Danielle and Francesca D'Eccliss and Courtney Kay, and nephews Scott and Michael Kay.Viewing from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7 p.m. on Thursday Nov. 10, 2005, at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary located at 7944 Magnolia Ave., Riverside, CA 92504. Mass will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 4268 Lime St., Riverside, Calif Friday Nov. 11, 2005 with graveside services to follow at Olivewood Memorial Cemetary, 3300 Central Ave., Riverside, Calif. A reception will follow to honor Ed at the downtown Marriott.In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Burn Institute of the Inland Empire at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
