Bierkamp, Evelyn Lorraine, age 86, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee and formally of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away at Hendersonville Medical Center on December 1, 2012. Memorial Services will be held at the Cedar Rapids Chapel on Thursday December 6, 2012 at 4pm 1513 1st Ave SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402 with Rev. Bill Harnish officiating.Mrs. Bierkamp was born on December 11, 1925 to the late Jerome and Maude Welsh in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Before retiring she was a self proprietor, owning beauty salons, a western store, and a gift shop. Mrs Bierkamp had a deep passion and love for her church and her God. She also loved painting, drawing, and spending time with her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband Kenneth Bierkamp: sisters, Dorothy Nasinec and Jane Kramer; and Brother -in-law Maury Curtis. Mrs. Bierkamp is survived by her daughters, Jeri(Mark) Bjornsen of White House and Jodi Graham of Des Moines, Iowa; brothers, Robert(Delmy) Welsh of Scottsdale, Arizona and Chuck (Pat) Welsh of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; sister, Lois Curtis of Scottsdale, Arizona; grandchildren, Jennifer(David) Wong of San Francisco, CA, Lucas (Amber) McEnany of White House, TN, Keegan Graham of Scottsdale, AZ, McKenzie Graham of Des Moines,IA, and Emily Bjornsen of White House, TN and three great-grandchildren, Lucas McEnany, Oliver Wong and Liliana McEnany. In lieu of flowers the family ask donations be made to the JDRF for Type 1 Diabetes 60 Walnut Street, Wellesley Hills, MA 02481 or to the White House Church of God, 2214 Hwy 31W, White House, TN 37188, all donation can be sent in care of Austin & Bell.
