Mr. Barker was born June 14, 1947, in Harrisburg, Arkansas, and had lived in Trumann for the past 35 years.
He was a PFC US Marine Corps and served in Vietnam. He was a carpet installer and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by three sisters; two brothers and was the son of the late Jim Henry and Anna Hughes Barker.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Powers Barker of the home; four sons, Mitch York of Reyno, Kenny York, Randy York and Danny York, all of Trumann; a daughter, Sharon Morgan of Oxford; and 14 grandchildren.
Graveside service were held in Holly Springs Cemetery directed by Thompson Funeral home.
