Family links and birth provided by Findagrave volunteer #47439947: he was born Sept 19, 1840 in Kentucky, a son of Price Newton Batts, (1811-1880), [Find a Grave # 70671864 ], and Lucinda (Adams) Batts, (1812-1900), [Find a Grave # 113669881 ], both buried Elizaville Cemetery, Elizaville, Boone Co., IN.

If you could connect him to his parents it would be appreciated. His paternal great-
grandmother was the sister of 2 of my 3 greats grandfathers.
