"Mrs. Anna O'Hara Freeman, 78, 108 7th Av. SE, died Wednesday evening at St. Luke's hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Juebl Funeral chapel with the Rev. Carl W. Stromberg officiating. Burial will be in Riverside.
Mrs. Freeman was born Feb. 19, 1870 at Coloma, Wis., and was married to Frank Lincoln Freeman there in 1893. The couple made their home in South Dakota near Scatterwood lake. Later they moved to Mansfield, where they entered the lumber business, and also operated the telephone and post office. In 1925, they moved to Aberdeen. She was preceded in death by an only daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Lowella Porter, in 1928 and by her husband in May of 1935. Many of her later years were devoted to the care of shut-ins and to her grandchildren. Mrs. Freeman was a member of the Methodist church.
She is survived by three granddaughters, Mrs. John Becker, Creighton, Neb.; Mrs. Lawrence Turner, Tacoma, Wash.; and Mrs. Jack Starrett, Washington, D.C., and two great grandchildren."
