Joan M. (Mc Corvey) Davis

Joan Michael McCorvey Davis has gone to be with other angels in Heaven. She was born in Dallas, Texas to William Neal McCorvey and Juanita Asbury McCorvey.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Neal Sterling McCorvey and William Darrell McCorvey. Joan is survived by her husband, Wesley M. Davis; son, Clayton W. Davis and wife Kina; daughter, Tammy Sue Macaluso and her husband Marco; three grandchildren, Eliesha R. Davis, Elijah G. Davis and Samantha M. Davis; brother, James McCorvey and sister- in- law, Darlene McCorvey and several nieces and nephews.

Joan was a career civil Service Worker. She and her husband moved to New Braunfels in 1994. She was a member of the First Protestant Church; The Comal County Senior Citizen Center and The National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Zoeller Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the Zoeller Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Thompsonville Cemetery in Thompsonville, Texas at 2:30 p.m.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be given to the charity of one's choice.
