Son of John Wesley Hobbs & Ora Arvilla Thayer.His birth name was Alfred Franklin Hobbs, but used Frank Albert in his later years. He owned several Nickleodeons in Chicago in the beginning of the 20th century, then became very successful in real estate...developing the Portage Park area. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner. Married twice...first time to Lydia (Louise Wells)m. 1891 in Ohio divorced in 1916 Chicago. They had 4 sons. Second marriage to Elsie Achtenberg..no children. He is buried with his first wife who also had remarried.
