Angela was truly one of a kind. She was just a great person. There is not one bad memory I have of her, always there with that big smile on her face. Angela left with so much grace and courage. It brings tears to my eyes to think of the wonderful life she would have had. She was taken far too early. In just 15 months Cancer took over and her life was cut short. Just a few weeks after her 25th birthday Angela passed away in her home with the people she loved most by her side.
Angela was a 1995 graduate of Lynn English High School, attended Salem State College, and at the time of her death was employed by Eastern Bank.
She was the daughter of Luciano and Gladys(Penny)Evangelista, the sister of Giovanna and Nicholas, and also leaves her grandparents, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Copies of this poem were handed out at her Funeral
A Hopi Prayer by Mary E. Frye
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there, I did not die.
