Howland D. Canfield ~ Only son of Richard A. Canfield, termed "America's Greatest Gambler". Howland Canfield was vacationing in Hawaii,where he was stricken with, and died from a brain aneurysm at Queen's Hospital, at age twenty-three. His body was returned to the mainland and buried in the family lot of his mother, Genevieve Wren Martin Canfield, at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence, Rhode Island.
