GIRL BURNED TO A CRISP
Three Year Old Daughter of Mr. James Baugh Met With a Horrible Death in Grant Co.
Mr. James Baugh, who lives in Washington Township, Grant County, made a sad mission to this city yesterday. He came here to make arrangements for the burial of his three year old daughter, Verrie Baugh, who met a horrible death by burning.
The little girl was in the house with her older sister and Mr. and Mrs. Baugh were out doors. The child played with two burning splinters of wood and her clothing caught fire. The parents did not get to her until her clothes had burned away, and they found her dead body charred and black.
The remains were buried at Center Camp Cenetery.
