Gerald Day Sr. was a retired quality assurance supervisor for NASA.
Mr. Day was born in Haines City. He came to Brevard County 41 years ago from California.
He was a member of the Temple Baptist Church in Titusville.
Survivors include his wife, Shirla Day of Mims; daughters, Shirla Ann Day of Rockledge and Debra Day of Winter Park; sons, Gerald Day Jr. of Cape Canaveral and Walter Day of Titusville; sisters, Cristine Mills of American Fork, Utah, and Linda Bynum of Lilburn, Ga.; and two grandsons.
Gerald was 68 years old.
