Robert Barclay (1869 - 1895). The deceased was a son of Robert Barclay, a prominent farmer of Scotland Township He was about 26 years of age and unmarried. He was born in Scotland Township Sept. 14, 1869, and he had made in that township all his life. He leaves besides his parents Mr. and Mrs. Robert Barclay, two brothers, William and John, and two sisters Ella (Ellen) and Jessie. He was an upright young man and respected by all who knew him. The funeral service will be held at the residence tomorrow at 10:30, after which the remains will be interred in Oakwood Cemetery, north of this city. Illinois Digital Newspaper Collections.
