WYOMING REPUBLICAN AND FARMER'S HERALD Jan 23, 1832

"Died, in the Borough of Wilkes-Barre, at the residence of her son, Stuben BUTLER, Esq., on Friday the 20th inst., Mrs. Phebe BUTLER, widow of Col. Zebulon BUTLER, of the Revolutionary army. Aged 80 years. She was one of the very few left to us, connecting the present with Revolutionary, and indeed, earlier times. Col. BUTLER had been previously twice married. He held a commission in the old French War and was captain of a company at the taking of the Havanna in 1762. In 1780, when holding a Colonel's commission in the American army, and stationed at West Point, he became acquainted with, and married Miss Phebe HAIGHT, the Mrs. BUTLER whose decease we now record. We presume little is hazard in saying, that she was the last wife or widow of an officer, who took part in the old war of '56, who fought under the auspices of Chatham, and was fellow soldier in the same struggle with WOLF. And thus, she seems to link connecting us with very ancient days, in singularly memorable events. Col. BUTLER, it is known, commanded the Wyoming troops on the ill-fated 3 July 1778, Under a law of last year, Mrs. BUTLER received a handsome gratuity and pension in right of her deceased husband. To some it may be interesting to know that the Rev. Edmund GRIFFIN, of New York, so prematurely removed from us, was Grandson of the deceased, one of the many sons of Wyoming, whose names add honor to the place of their birth"

Note: Not sure if she is buried with her husband in this cemetery
