Les Hartsfield, 81, of Corsicana passed away Thursday, March 24, 2005, at his residence. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery with Brother Bill Honea officiating.
Mr. Hartsfield was born April 26, 1923, in Hobbs. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II, 10th Mountain Division, and fought in Italy. He was a member of Garland Road VFW 6796 in Dallas, Brick Layers Local 5 Union in Dallas, and Partners Golf Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Rosie Fay Hartsfield; and sister, Marcella Bost.
Survivors include his wife, Anita Hartsfield of Corsicana; daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Mike Milligan of Corsicana; grandsons, Michael Lee Milligan, Daniel Monroe Milligan and Larry Tim Milligan, all of Corsicana; sisters, Lilian Ferguson of Quanah and Sue Degrazio and husband Joe of Wyoming; and numerous nieces and nephews.
