Isabeau was a true personality among those who knew him. He lived a long and eventful life on his own terms, and allowed those he loved to be a part of it fully. He was abandoned for dead by his feline mother, but was found and cared for by children until their parents discovered him and took over. He was nursed back to health, and he chose a woman to take him home at first sight. She did, and they had a wonderful life together. He was happy to entertain her guests with his charming presence, and eventually he was more sought after for visits and company than she was. He was extraordinarily handsome for a cat, particularly a mixed breed, although he did secretly believed himself to be of royal blood. He did no tricks, because he felt they were demeaning, and he had no need for false flattery. He was a true friend to everyone he chose to let into his circle. He was kind when nessecary, and also ferocious when need be. No moth was safe in his vacinity. He was soft as a bunny. His eyes were the color of absinthe. He died peacefully in his woman's arms at the age of 19 and 1/2, having seen and done it all. Those who knew and loved him do not know how they will go on without him.
