OBITUARY

John Petersen of Ulen Dies
John H. Petersen 61, farmer in Walworth Township, Becker County, died Sunday in a Detroit Lakes, Minn. hospital. He had suffered a cerebral hemorrhage in his farm home June 6 and had been hospitalized since.
The funeral will be at 2 Friday in Atlanta Lutheran Church southeast of here, the Rev. Thomas Boe officiating.
Mr. Petersen was born Oct. 2, 1897, in Iowa. He moved with his parents to the Ulen community in 1915. He had never married.
He leaves his mother, Mrs. Thomas Petersen of Ulen; two brothers, Henry of Detroit Lakes and Thomas of Minneapolis; and five sisters, Rosanna at home; Mrs. Katie Morken, Eugene. Ore.; Mrs. Ralph (Anna) Stevens, Detroit Lakes; Mrs. Camille (Marie) Seys, Tipton, Iowa, and Mrs. Leonard (Dora) Hendrickson, Minneapolis.
Viegen Funeral Home of Lake Park, Minn. will have the service.
