TERRE HAUTE — MARSHALL, Ill. — Wanda Mae Martin Cook, 64, of Marshall died at 7:50 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006, in her daughter's residence in Greenwood, Ind. She retired from TRW in Marshall after 22 years of service.
She was born Dec. 1, 1941, in Decatur to Erman Corley and Marie Workman Corley. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James H. Martin on July 18, 1994. Survivors include her husband, James C. Cook; a daughter and son-in-law, Paulinea and Eric King of Greenwood; one son, James H. Martin Jr. of Marshall, Ill.; one stepdaughter, Jaylyn C. Kadell and her husband John, serving in the Marines and stationed in San Diego, Calif.; one stepson, James C. "J.J." Cook Jr., serving in the Army National Guard and stationed in Iraq; four grandchildren, Brian M. Henderson, serving in the Navy and stationed in Norfolk, Va., Sarah M. King, Anthony J. "A.J." King and Melody Vanessa Martin.
Services are 2 p.m. EDT Saturday in Fitzpatrick-Pearce Funeral Home in West Terre Haute, Ind., with the Rev. Tim Foster officiating. Eulogy will be provided by Dick Wagster. Burial is in Bethesda Cemetery.
