Charles Edward Bullock, age 77, died Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at Christiana Hospital, in Newark, Delaware. He was born on December 25, 1929, in Jackson, Michigan, to Samuel and Rose S. (Vermuelen) Bullock. He was a longtime resident of Michigan for more than 40 years, and a former resident of Florida for 6 years, and also of Pinehurst, NC.
Following graduation from high school, Mr. Bullock became a member of the Purchasing Agency Association of Detroit.
He was a Tool & Die Sales Representative for Livernois Engineering (retired), and formerly a Purchasing Agent for ACME Industrial Products. Mr. Bullock enjoyed outdoor activities, especially hunting and fishing. He was an avid bowler who participated in many tournaments and leagues. His family and friends will remember him as a very talented man. He served in the US Army from May 19, 1948-May 18, 1950. Survived by wife, Gilda "Jill" (nee: Papa) Bullock – married for 56 years; children, Gail D. Gardner (Steven) and Gregory A. (Mary Ann). Grandchildren, Margaret, Michelle, Angela, Michael, and Samuel Gardner. Great-grandson, Tyler, Surviving brother,Richard Lee Bullock.
Also survived by, many loving nieces and nephews
