Over the years, he owned several service businesses in Summersville and in St. Louis. He also worked for Atlas Tool, Grand Manufacture, A-Rack, Williams Bus line and operated the ferry at Owls Bend - Powder Mill Ferry. His last employment was with Imperial Charcoal at Summersville.
He enjoyed his family and friends, taking care of the cattle, horses, bush hogging and the daily routine farm work.

Services were March 7 at the Bradford Funeral Home Chapel in Summersville with the Rev. Gary Steelman and the Rev. Tommy Boyd officiating. Burial was in the Barnett Cemetery.
Frank gave me my first "real job" as a dishwasher in his Summersville cafe back in the early 70's. I quickly advanced to waitress. One time, I remember my friends coming in on a Sunday afternoon begging me to go swimming with them. I ask his wife if I could go and she didn't think it was a good idea to leave them with only one waitress, Frank said, "Oh, let her go have some fun!" He was a real nice guy. I also remember he was very handsome. People loved him.
