Eleanor was the daughter of Samuel and Ann (Collins) Thralls. She was the wife of Joseph Babb. They came into Illinois in 1835 from Ohio. Their children were Benjamin (He married Nancy Jones), Ann (she married Lot Bullman), Ruth (she married Samuel Mundell, they were my husband's GG Grandparents), Charlotte (who married Henry King Cassell), Sarah(who married Alexander Stock), and Maria (she married Mr. Foster, then when her sister Ruth passed away she married Samuel Mundell and helped raise Samuel and Ruth's children.) Joseph, Eleanor and two of their children are buried in the Babb Cemetery (Benjamin, his wife Nancy and Ruth Babb Mundell along with other family and friends.)
The Babb Cemetery is located on a hill top just east of Lacon, Marshall County, Illinois.
Joseph Babb, along with his brother General Jonathan Babb were pioneers in that area of Illinois.
