Kathleen Aicardi, 72, of Leesburg, FL passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012. She moved to Leesburg in May of 2000 from Braintree, MA. She was a member of the St. Paul Parish in Leesburg. Her passion for Golf laid dormant until her husband Kenneth introduced her to the sport and from that point forward she was discovering her latent abilities, passion and competitive nature for Golfing. Kathleen was also a member of the Pembroke Fairways Golf Course. She will be remembered as a gentle loving wife, mom and grandma. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Kenneth F. Aicardi; sons: Kenneth (Susan) Aicardi of Winchester, VA; Francis Aicardi of Rockland, MA; Thomas Aicardi of Quincy, MA; and Patrick (Laura) Aicardi of Bristol, NH; brother, Patrick McDonough; sisters: Ann (Thomas) Barry; and Barbara McDonough; and 8 grandchildren. A memorial Mass will be held 11 am Friday, January 27 at Saint Pauls Catholic Church in Leesburg.
