Madame. Aida (originally spelled Ada) was one half of the Everleigh sisters who ran a brothel in Chicago from 1899-1912. The story of the sisters' lives in covered in the books 'Sin In The Second City' by Karen Abbott and 'Come Into My Parlor' by Charles Washburn.They are interred next to one another in their family plot which includes their father (Montgomery), mother (Virginia), and a sister.
