Kenneth K. Bartchy, 69, of 656 W. Ohio Ave., died at 7:50 a.m. Thursday at The Cleveland Clinic.

Mr. Bartchy was born Jan. 14, 1923, in Beloit to E. Roy and Theresa F. Hoffman Bartchy, and lived in the Sebring/Beloit area all of his life. He was employed by Sekely Industrial Co. in Salem for 20 years, retiring in 1987.

A U. S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6730.

Mr. Bartchy is survived by his wife, Iris (Buhrin), whom he married Nov. 19, 1960. He was preceded in death by a step-mother, Alta Bartchy, and a brother, Francis.
