Mrs. Edna Bailey aged 89, passed away at her home at 220 Blakely Ave., Brownsville, Fri. Sep. 03, at 9:15 pm. as a result of a heart attack.
She was born Oct. 04 1875 at Sweet Home and lived in that area and the Crawfordsville area before coming to Brownsville in 1923 where she has since made her home.
She was married to Elmer Fox, Dec. 01, 1896, who died 1915. In 1924 she was married at Albany to William Bailey who passed away in 1948.
Survivors include two sons, James Irvin Fox, CA. and Bryon D. Fox, Brownsville, two grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews, and a sister, Mrs. M. Wade, Eugene.
Services were held at the Brownsville Mennonite church, Mr. Dale Hampton officiating, Wednesday Sep. 08. Burial was at the Union cemetery, Crawfordsville. Bearers were Herman Kruesi, Lloyd Kropf,Harry Johnson, Orrin Lien, Melvin Miner, and Leo Haney.
