Donald Joseph "Don" FORCIER was a son of Alfred and Evelyn (SMITH) FORCIER of Burlington, Vermont.
Don answered his country's call to duty and served a number of years in the U. S. Air Force, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. During his time in the Air Force, he met and married his wife Christine "Tina", also an Air Force Noncommissioned Officer. Don and Tina were married 35 years (until Don's passing), during which time they parented a large family of children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren in which Don took great pride.
After retiring from the Air Force, Don joined Texas Instruments Inc. in Austin, Texas. He remained with the company until 1996 when it sold its Austin assets to Solectron. Don then worked at Solectron until his retirement.
After retirement, Don, ever the productive type, started looking for ways to keep busy while doing something for the benefit of society. To this end, he became active in the local chapter of the AARP, the Round Rock Senior Center, S.A.L.T. Eldercare, and the Texas Instruments-Austin Retirees Club (TI-ARC) in which he served as treasurer for several years.
It can truly be said that Don tried hard and succeeded in leaving the world a better place. He will be missed by many.
