Grace (Clark) Whiting's
Grace and her husband had a large dairy farm in South Upton. They also sold timber and gravel.
Grace was a very kind and loving person, devoted to all her children and relatives. She cared for her Mother when her father died in 1930.
She was well known for her poetry, which was published in local newspapers. She was always ready for company,
With seven bedrooms, sometimes all occupied, especially during haying time, she must have been very organized! She loved the outdoors, She loved to go camping, digging for clams, skiing and swimming in the river that went through their Land.
She had diarys from 1928 until her death in 1952.
An inspiration for her family to enjoy and remember her for the wonderful person she was.
