Charles Edward Mize, the one-year-old son of Capt. and Mr. C.E. Mize, died in an Augusta hospital Thursday, July 15. Charles is survived by his father, Captain Mize of the U.S. Army and mother, Mrs. Geraldine Hill Mize, of Summerville, also his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. D.M. Hill of Summerville and Mr. H.E. Mize of Cave Springs, Ga, and a number of uncles and aunts.
Funeral services were conducted from Summerville Baptist Church Sunday, July 18 by Rev. E.L. Williams and Rev. Madison D. Short, Sr. Interment in Summerville Cemetery. Paul Weems Funeral Home in Charge.
