Buddy was the first dog I ever loved, loved as deeply as a child. He was born in a Glassboro State College (now Rowan Uniervisty) sorority house, and was given to me by my friend Trish when he was almost 2 years old. Actually, he found us first; he ran away from home and showed up at our apartment one day. He remembered where we lived and traveled over miles to get to us, through highway traffic (we lived near State highway 322 at the time). We miss him, but his spirit lives on, and we have his daughter Hannah Joan (named after my Mother). Now, Hannah is gone, too. I hurts, but she is in Heaven with her namesake, you & all 5 of our dogs. I love and miss you all. See you at the Gate.
