Millie Porter was born 23 October 1891 in Porterville, Morgan, Utah. The daughter of Lyman Ozias Porter and Ann Rich Porter. She married Charles Dean Cornia in 1912. They were the parents of five children, Elsie, Beulah, Parley, Rita and Charles O'dell. Charles died in 1926 at the age of 38. Millie had to go to work to raise her little family. She cooked for men on hay camps and on the Monte Cristo road. That is where Millie's Spring got its name. Both Parley and O'dell went to serve their country in World War II. O'dell, the youngest, was killed, the only boy from Woodruff.
Millie married William Ezra Brown in 1938. She passed away in 1967.
