Actress. Born in Lafayette, Indiana, she was a popular comedienne appearing chiefly in silent comedy films from 1913 to 1939. She made her screen debut in "Poor Jake's Demise" (1913) and went on to be featured in over 275 films. Her many credits included "A Bear Affair" (1915), "The Kitchen Lady" (1918), "Married Life" (1920), "The Gold Diggers" (1923), "Finger Prints" (1927), "Wide Open" (1930), "Alice in Wonderland" (1933), "Colleen" (1936) and "The Old Maid" (1939). She was married to Hollywood producer Hal B. Wallis. (bio by: John "J-Cat" Griffith)
