Freddie as I fondly remember him was an irishman and a kindly man. He was my foster dad who influenced my life all the years I knew him til he passed away with cancer in 1990. He came into my life in my childhood and was ever present even from afar when he was unable to arrange visitations. He was present when my first child was born and stayed close all the days of his life through letters and visits. He was my mentor my friend and in many ways my earthly father.
Military US NAVY WWII Chartlestown/ Boston Naval yard til he retired.
Accomplishments Several masters degrees {unknown} He was an accomplished carpenter by trade also. He was a quiet but a well educated learned man who loved music, the polka, classical, opera, and his garden.
I was heartbroken the day I learned he passed. There is no more pain or suffering my dear beloved Freddie so our hearts are content in knowing God called you home.
This is the story of one of my very special angels who forever touched my heart.
He rests with his infant son Little Frederick Porter JR.
