Brian Graves

Brian W. Graves, 27, of Joppa, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1998 at Lourdes hospital in Paducah as a result of a one-car automobile accident on July 23.

Survivors include two sons Brian Robert Graves and Corey Wayne Graves, both of Joppa; his mother Ruth Conley of Joppa; two sisters Barbara Lewis of Joppa and Bonnie Nelson of Metropolis; one brother Scott Conley of Joppa; his maternal grandmother, Caroline Graves of Joppa; four nieces; one nephew and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Lindsey "Sonny" Conley; and his maternal grandfather Oliver Graves.

Funeral Service was Sunday at Crossroads Church in Joppa with Rev. Barry Dummitt and Rev. Charles Pulley officiating. Music was all provided by Rev. Pulley.

Burial followed in Hillerman Baptist Church Cemetery in Massac County. Pallbearers were Larry Joe Meyers, Dale Miller and Dennis Lewis.

Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home of Metropolis was in charge of arrangements.
