Danny W. Haynes, Sr., 69, of Memphis, TN passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 20, 2014. Danny graduated from Whitehaven High School in Memphis, class of 1962. He retired from the Memphis Fire Department after 35 years of service. He leaves two sons, Danny Haynes, Jr. (Amy) and Mark (Angela) Haynes, and was preceded in death by his son, Burt Haynes. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and sisters, Donna Hays, Carlene Edwards, and Vicki Herlan.

Visitation will be 3-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 23 at Hope Presbyterian Church, 8500 Walnut Grove Road, Cordova, TN 38018, with the service to begin at 5 p.m. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery North, Sheridan, AR.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or your favorite charity.
