On July 9, 1983 she was baptized at St. John Lutheran Church in Daykin by Pastor M. Vosseler and was confirmed on April 21, 1907, by Pastor C. R. Peschel.
Minnie, as she was affectionatly known, was always willing to help in time of need. She was a lifelong member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church and taught a Sunday School class for many years. She was a charter member of the St. John Lutheran Ladies Aid Society formed in 1928, which later became American Lutheran Church Women and was an active member as long as her health permitted. She was also a member of the Willing Workers and the Busy Bee Club.
When she became unable to live alone in November 1976, she went to the Jefferson County Memorial Nursing Home. The loss of her sight and increasing problems of her age led to her death Dec 22.
