Donald Leo Lashbrook, 70 of Mt. Sterling, was the son of Elvis Leo and Rebecca Irene Kunkel Lashbrook.

He attended Buckhorn schools in Brown County and also attended school in Clayton. He worked for Dot Foods in Mt. Sterling for over 24 years, and was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Mt. Sterling, having served the church as trustee and elder. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1952-1955. He always enjoyed hunting, dancing, bowling and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by is parents; one sister, Mary Buxton; and one brother in infancy.

Services were held at 10 AM Friday March 25, 2005 at Hendricker Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling with Rev. Joseph Eckman officiating. A military service was conducted at the graveside.
