Born in Kansas City, Kansas, Joe came to this area in 2004 from Orlando. Joe has owned and operated J & J Landscaping Company since 2006, was a certified auto mechanic and was a very handy guy. Having played baseball and soccer in high school, Joe was a sports fanatic and a true Gators fan.
He was a certified scuba diver and enjoyed his saltwater fish tank. He loved to cook and fed anyone who was around. His brother, Mark, was his best friend and enjoyed many sports together.
Joe is survived by his daughter, Katilyn Bailey of Deltona; parents, Joe and Suzi Bailey of New Smyrna Beach; and brother, Mark Bailey of Edgewater. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and lots of friends.
A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 20, 2015 at the Settle-Wilder Chapel in New Smyrna Beach. Family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until time of service.
