Canadian-born Rock Guitarist/Musician and Record Producer. Macmichael was guitarist for many groups or appeared on several albums including guitarist with the band Space in the late 1970s, guitarist with the group Fast Forward in the early 1980s, guitarist for Robert Plant's 'Fate Of Nations' in 1993, and appeared in Pete Best's Beatles Tribute Band from 1998 to 2000. In 1985 he decided to move to England to further his musical career. There, he met Nick Van Eede and together they formed the 1980s group, 'Cutting Crew.' Later they were joined by Martin 'Frosty' Beedle and Colin Farley. In 1986 they signed onto the Siren Record Label and released several demos. In 1986 they released there debut album called, 'Broadcast.' The album was a great success thanks to there single, "(I Just) Died In Your Arms Tonight" which reached #1 on the Billboard Chart in the United States. The band would release 3 more albums before Macmichael left the group in 1993. There other songs include "Any Colour," "One For The Mockingbird," "I've Been In Love Before," "Life In A Dangerous Time," "Fear Of Falling," "Don't Look Back," "Sahara," "It Shouldn't Take Too Long," and "The Broadcast."
