Graveside services for Letha Bale Adamson, Emmett, who died Sunday, Dec. 30, at home of natural causes, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
Her grandson, Elder John E. Campbell of Nampa will officiate, under the direction of the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
She was born in Barry County, Mich., the daughter of Roy and Alice Downing Bale. She was reared and educated in the Ten Davis area near Parma where her parents farmed. During World War II, she worked at the munitions site near Hermiston, Ore., Hanford Atomic Research Site, and for several years, she worked in electronics at McClellan Field Air Force Base, Sacramento, Calif.
She is survived by her husband, Beryl J. Adamson of Emmett; one son, H.E. "Bud" Farley of Klamath Falls, Ore.; five daughters, Jean Mason of Burley, Helen Mattox and Ethel Dana, both of Nampa, Vivian Rae Sorensen of Beatty, Nev., and Joan Davis of Caldwell; two brothers, Alton Bale of Coeur d'Alene, and Clifford Bale of New Plymouth; two sisters, Evelyn Park and Norma Jordan, both of Portland; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two grandsons and one great-grandson.
