SHIRLEY JEAN CHATMAN, 53, of 680 Eva, homemaker, died of heart failure Thursday at Baptist Memorial Hospital East. Services will be at noon Monday at Rock of Ages CME Church with burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. N. H. Owens & Son Funeral Home has charge. She was an usher and choir member at Rock of Ages CME Church and House of Prayer. Mrs. Chatman, the wife of Andrew Chatman Jr., also leaves two daughters, Andrea Chatman and Karma Chatman; a son, Andrew Chatman III; her father and stepmother, Monroe Colvin and Mary Colvin; two sisters, Christina Stafford and Barbara Colvin Higginbotham; four brothers, Harold Colvin, Ronald Colvin, Leushis Colvin and Gary Colvin, and two grandchildren.
