Mr. Cecil Harrison Pruitt, age 92, of Baldwin, GA (formerly of Forsyth County), passed away Saturday, July 5, 2008. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Eloise Groover and second wife, Dorothy Pirkle. Mr. Pruitt was a Mason (Matt Lodge) #694 F&AM.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Barbara (Pruitt) and Freddie Wilson of Greenville, SC; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth Dean and Susan C. Pruitt of Loganville and Charles Ezra and Judy P. Pruitt of Cleveland; grand children, Rebecca Wilson Ahlberg, Elizabeth Wilson McDonough, David A. Wilson, Todd Bradley Pruitt, Kendall Melissa Parasot, Russell Lee Pruitt, Robin Lynn Parriman, Darren Michael Pruitt and Charles Douglas Pruitt; 13 great grandchildren; brother, Raden Pruitt of Bogart; sisters, Louise Lacey of Canton, Jean Batchlor of Monroe and Joan Jones of Columbus; sister-in-law, Ruth Groover of Smyrna; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Martin officiating and Virginia Hammett speaking. Interment will follow at White Chapel cemetery in Duluth. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 6, 2008, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia will be in charge of arrangements.
