Erma Louise Allan, Nee White, was born November 1, 1919 and
passed to her reward on June 14, 1941, leaving her age 21 years, 7 months and 13 days, and Edward, age 1 year, 9, months and 4 days, and Richard, 8 months and 15 days.
Mrs. Allan was born on a farm near Milford, Nebr., and later moved with her parents to Arcadia, Nebraska where she graduated from High School in 1937.
She was converted early in life and joined Evangelical Church at Beaver Crossing where she was a very active member until she transferred her membership to the Arcadia Congregational Church.
In August of 1938 she went to Filer, Idaho where she married Harvey Thomas Allan and where they established their home.
This Union was blessed with two sons, Edward, born September 10, 1939 and Richard September 29, 1940.
On June 14 she with the boys were on an errand when they met with an accident where the car she was driving collided with a swift moving passenger train near Twin falls, Idaho when all three were hurled into eternity.
Mrs. Allan was a loving wife and mother, always desirous to do that which was for the best interests of the family. It was an errand of kindness that she was on the way to do when the accident occurred.
She is survived by a beloved husband and her father, G.E. White, her mother having preceded her in death; three sisters, Lois, Edna and Joyce and three brothers, Robert and George all of Arcadia and Charles who is in the navy; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Bissey and many other relatives and friends.
May God grant all a happy reunion.
Funeral services were conducted from the Funeral Home at Twin Falls, Idaho on
Tuesday June 17th.
The bodies were shipped to Beaver Crossing, Nebraska where a short service was conducted at the cemetery by Rev. E. Sohl, pastor of Beaver Crossing Evangelical Church.
Interment in the Beaver Crossing Cemetery.
