A 58-year marriage began on June 27, 1948, when Betty married Bob Arnold. While devoted to her family, she found time to be a kindergarten teacher and served as registrar and assistant librarian at Etta Dale Junior High School. Betty was the "Shaklee Queen of El Reno," and befriended all she served with her gracious energy.
She was a member of First Christian Church and also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clem A. Cherry and Elizabeth "Betty" Bean Cherry Wilson.
