My g-uncle, William Richard Mehner ("Bill"), the second of 6 children born to Gustav Hermann Mehner (1860-1900) and Katharine Riefkohl Mehner (1866-1951) in Flatonia, Fayette co., Texas on 22 January 1891.
Bill's 5 siblings were: Carl Ferdinand Mehner (1889-1961); Herbert Paul Mehner (1893-1949), Otto Edward Mehner (1896-1918), George Herman Mehner (1898-1923) and one sister, Anna Frances Mehner Cook (1900-1984) (my grandmother).
Bill married three times -- exact dates and places of marriage and information re each wife currently unknown: Lucille (Langhorne) Smith (1902-1948), Frances (maiden name unknown) and Virginia Elizabeth Young(1905-1967). Bill had no children.
Bill died at the age of 81 in the Henderson Memorial Hospital in Henderson, Rusk County, Texas on 29 February 1972.
