THE PARIS NEWS, Dec. 13, 2011, page 3. - HUGO, Okla. - Ione Robinson Caldwell, 79, of Powderly, passed away Friday, Dec. 9, 2011, at home. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Paris with Father White officiating. Interment is to follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Hugo. A Rosary is set for 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with visitation from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at Miller & Miller Funeral Home in Hugo.
She was born June 6, 1932, in Waukon, Iowa, the daughter of Clarence Elsheimer and Myrtle Tessum Elsheimer. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Ione enjoyed her friends, golf, fishing, and entertaining. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband, Forrest Robinson; her second husband, Leo Caldwell; sisters, Donna Biermann, Arlys Doscher and Carol Nesvik; and two grandchildren, Eric Hunter and Matthew Caleb Robinson.
Survivors include four sons, Rickey Robinson of Glenpool, Okla., Randy Robinson and wife, Diane, of Bettendorf, Iowa, David Robinson and wife, Rhonda, of Hugo and Matthew Robinson and wife, Barbie, of McKinney; three daughters, Rhonda Hegland and husband, Ron, of Idabel, Okla., Jan Hunter and husband, Ricky, of Hugo and Lori Forrest and husband, William, of Edmond, Okla.; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
