Birth: 1879

Parker County
Texas, USA
Death: 1956

Youngest son of Charles H Bantau and Louisa R Simpson Bantau. James B's father Charles H died at the age of 27 years from tuberculosis which had not yet been discovered. James B's mother Louisa R Simpson was remarried to JW Hartsfield. The officiating minister was Reverend Henry Day Bantau, the father of Charles H Bantau. James B and his older brother George H Bantau and their mother Louisa R are found living with Henry Day Bantau and his wife Elizabeth Walker Bantau on the 1880 census. On that census James B's father (Charles H.) was already gone and James B was only 9 months old.
The following addition suggested by Tim Wilkinson has been accepted by Carl Bantau:

I wish I could of known you. Daddy, Adel, Grady and Irene all had any wonderful things to say about you. You were a character from what I've heard and a wonderful father.
