Milledgeville- Aaron Bushman about 64, died suddenly Wednesday[6 Aug 1947]morning while pitching out bundles on the farm of a neighbor,
Leo Harrington.

Bushman, it is reported, complained of feeling dizzy about 11am. He sat down to rest, then slumped to the ground. Unable to revive him, fellow workers telephoned the family physician but learned he was at Sterling public hospital performing an operation, They rushed Bushman to the Hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival about 11:30a.m. A brother said he believed
death was due to a heat stroke, since Mr. Bushman had never been known to have any heart ailment.

Mr. Bushman was born in Whiteside county and had farmed his entire life in Whiteside and Carroll counties.

Surviving, in addition to his Widow, are a son, Elwood, Sterling, and three brothers Lloyd,Milledgeville,William,Dixon, and Cyrus,Coleta.

Services are being arranged at the Shirk funeral home.
