Clifford Joseph Luce, 44, a con struction super intendent, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2006 at Florida Hospital Orlando after a ten month battle with leukemia. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and came to Brevard County in 1991 from Italy. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1981 and also attend ed Vincennes University in Indi ana where after his graduation he served for ten years in the United States Air Force. Clifford also attended Kaiser College as well. While in the Air Force he was assigned to the Red Horse Squadron and com pleted various construction proj ects throughout the world. He was employed by Brassfield and Gorrie for the last eight years. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and co-workers. Clifford married Patrica Kolarick on November 13, 1981. During their marriage they were blessed with the birth of their two sons, C.J. (22) and Chaz (15). He and his family have lived in Texas, England, Italy and Florida. Other survivors include his parents, Raymond and Mary Luce of Merritt Island; his broth ers, George and Stephen Luce of Vincennes, Indiana and Patrick Luce of Avon, Indiana and his sister Mary Bloom of Vincennes, Indiana. A visitation will be held this evening, June 21, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Wylie-Baxley Rockledge Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 22, 2006 at 11 a.m., at the St. Marys Cath olic Church in Rockledge. Inter ment with military honors will follow at the Florida Memorial Gardens. The family would appreciate that donations may be made to the St. Marys Catholic Church School in Rockledge or by do nating Blood and/or Platelets at the Rockledge Blood Bank in the name of Clifford Luce. Wylie-Baxley Rockledge Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
