Ann Broyles, of Sedalia, died Feb 8, 2007, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
She was born Feb 5, 1943 in Sedalia, the daughter of Dare and Dorothy Jane Kroencke Whitaker. On Feb 1, 1964 in Sedalia, she was married to C R "Sonny" Broyles, who survives of the home.
Mrs. Broyles was raised and educated in Sedalia and was a graduate of Smith Cotton High School. During her high school years, she was a member of Job's Daughters. She attended William Woods College. She worked as a teacher for Honey Bear Day Care. She enjoyed her lake home and being involved with Sedalia youth wrestling. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Also surviving are are two sons, Wesley "Sonny" Broyles and his wife Lori, of Sedalia, and Brian Broyles and his wife Jerrie, of Sedalia; two daughters, Lori Proctor and her husband Chad, of Sedalia, and Lisa Swords and her husband Pat, of Sedalia; a sister, Julie Dyer, of Kansas City, MO; a niece, Debbie Karlstrand; six grandchildren, Dakota Proctor, Tanner Proctor, Macy Broyles, Ned Lindstrom III, Megan Lightfoot and Adam Lightfoot.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Scott Allen.
Pallbearers were Jim Gregory, John Bus, Joe Bode, Jack Osborn, Darrin Fravel and Harold Burt. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Ferguson, Ted Sims, Gary Blake and Glen Glidewell.
