William Allen Dunham is the son of James A and Mary Ann (Austin) Dunham. He married Catherine (Kate) Lumley on September 24, 1878 in Richmond Indiana. He was the father of three girls and one boy. His son Roy Cleveland Dunham died at the age of five. One of his daughters died at birth. His two remaining daughters grew up to marry and have children of their own. He was a Mason in Franklin Indiana. William was a coffin maker by trade, and a wonderful carpenter. My family still have some of his pieces.
