After she dedicated most of life to raising her family, Glenda worked as a certified nursing assistant at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center and later at Beechwood Nursing Home, after nursing she worked for the Sheboygan County Project Head Start serving as a food service specialist, retiring in August of 2005.
She attended Zion United Methodist Church in Batavia. In her free time she enjoyed crafts, cooking, and tending to her flower garden. She also was a great teacher, sharing the trade of cooking, crocheting, and crafts with her children and grandchildren.Glenda's family was very important to her, she was filled with joy that all of her children were so close with her, and this is how she built the strong family foundation she was so proud of.
Survivors include two sons, Matthew Beaudry and special friend Marie of Waldo, Michael J. Beaudry of Adell, four daughters, Kimberly Spiroff and special friend Mike of Adell, Shelly Beaudry and special friend Joe of Adell, Debra (William) Berth of Adell, Traci (Bruce) Birenbaum of Adell, twelve grandchildren, Amber Wilding, Eric and Ashley Spiroff, David and Kayla Sarnowski, Cassandra Plummer, Amanda and Kimberly Berth, Bailey, Payton, Tanner, and Dakota Birenbaum; 2 brothers, Clarence Ronald (Sandy) Cain and Donald Cain, a sister-in-law Gloria Cain and her daughter Sharon, and special friend Carol Martin
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two grandchildren, Justin and Tyler Plummer and one son-in-law Steven Plummer.
